I haven't been on WIX in months, and am not sure how I stumbled onto this thread, go figure. I just had to throw another female into the mix. Some of us, myself included, are very interested in avaition. Love flying, history, anything and everything I can get my hands on. It's something everyone who knows me know about me. I've even been able to get my hubby into it... and he encourages it... it's WONDERFUL!

This lady runs the marketing side of my military business , looks sweet but as tough as nails in business :?

Depending on which air force base she's on she is known by code names such as "Wonder Woman" , "Elang" (Indonesian for eagle) or "Niaga" (the Dragon) . We figured this out as we overheard a pattern when we arrived and departed over the intelligence guys walkie talkies.

Universally feared by my staff

We just sold this 402C and my staff and the seller's engineers got out the marker pens (it was going to get a full rebuild and repaint anyway) and put good luck messages on the aircraft on the nose just prior to it's ferry flight to Perth Australia via Bali , must of worked as it got there ok.

I must say if you get the right women in aviation they are very effective and can 'push the envelope' a lot more than a guy can , some of the things she gets away with is eye opening, if it was an indonesian GUY doing the job he'd probably get punched in the face . I'm very proud of her :D

Working around planes all day has got her itching to get her private pilots licence and I think she'll be a disciplined pilot.

I took my ex-girlfriend to a couple of airshows, and she was quite impressed by the Griffon Spitfire tailchase at Duxford.

That was about it...
