So does it look like this bird is just a big pile of corrosion with a data plate attached to it? Or does the 1941 HAG have a chance of bringing her back to the air?!

I really doubt she will ever fly but she will make a really beautiful static display. Corrosion is not the issue as much as $$$$$ like every other restoration project!

Money is always the driving force. With enough money, you can even turn a lump of corrosion with a data plate into a flyable aircraft. It just depends how much money you want to spend. Unfortunatly, Museums don't have that kind of money available.

It's great to see the old girl receive the attention it deserves.

I don't know guys. While I am sure it would take lost of money to g et it flying. So far all the talk I have heard coming from Geneseo was to get it into flying condtion. But perhaps thats a pipe dream just like my B-36 idea. :)
