This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I don't see how a conventional film camera could fit in either "port" shown in the Lubbock and Fort Garland photos. There would also have to be a side door to access the film magazine.

There's a T-33 parked on the north ramp here at Executive. I'll have to take a walk out there to look at the intake/engine/exhaust layout, but I'm guessing it pretty well takes up all of the fuselage below and behind the cockpit. Our 6" focal length mapping camera stands around 24" tall with magazine.

The RT-33 photo recon variant had its camera in the nose.

For Hercules 130, this is the only shot I have of the fire training T-33 @ Dyass AFB, if that is what its used for, it don't look likes its been set a fire? Could be we are talking bout two different T-birds?
Perhaps we could presuade our good friend Brad to get us a better shot if its still there :D
The number on the tail is 61733, not familiar with T-33 serials perhaps sombody can track it :?: My old film camera was having light leak problems as you can tell. Right click save and zoom in for the tail #.
