One thing I learned in 17 years of practicing law was, it was always easy to beat up the little guys. Of course I was always the little guy, I felt like a recon pilot, alone, unarmed, and unafraid ................ I used to put up a heck of a fight and I taught a lot of the bigger guys some lessons.
I looked at their website and they only have a MKIX Spit, HA-112 and a Hurricane (significant planes). If someone needs to make some noise it should be someone who has a lot of SIGNIFICANT planes; OH YEAH, those guys are all nice people .............

Mark just to clarify the Russell Group have a real ME109 its not a Buchon.

Welcome to the Russell Group.... I've heard too much about them. I know of at least one volunteer who left the organization due to differences with Mr. Russell. I'm surprised he even has an air show. From all accounts I've heard from people that know or knew him, he is not a nice person to deal with. I'm sorry this happened to you, it's a shame.
Yes I was warned before I started to help out their, probally should have listened. It is not so much Ed, he seems to be a quiet kinda guy, now as for his wife well..... In my short time I saw one highly experenced pilot leave and a few helpers. Too bad if they keep this trend up i'm afraid thier will be a time when they have no one to help and will be forced to close up shop, maybe Mr. Potter would like a MKIX Spit and 109 for his fleet.

Mike hasn't got room for them right now his hangar is full, not that he wouldn't take them. No complaints about working with the Vintage Wings folks, they are absolutely fantastic to their volunteers. Mike is a pilot who has a passion for flying and he is so ready to share that passion especialy with the vetrans. We all realize how lucky we are to have him here . I'm also trying to get my head around how someone publicising the organisation with photographs can be seen as a problem.
As to any lost revenue due to enthusiasts or non-contracted professionals selling photos (let alone the not-profitable photobucket) it strikes me as paperclips cash loss.
Something odd, to say the least.
