Likely due to them having the gun nose on them, also from pictures I have seen it only seems to be the true bomber variants with the glass nose that have the other style of cockpit.

The four Mosquitos that Avspecs have restored to airworthiness so far are all, structurally, FB.VI variants, or equivalents thereof.
KA114, FB.26 (Canadian built FB.VI).
TV959, T.III (structurally a FB.VI).
PZ474, FB.VI.
NZ2308, T.43, which is the trainer variant of the FB.40, which is an Australian built FB.VI.

As far as I'm aware, all the current flying Mosquitoes, with the exception of the ex Bob Jens' B.35, are/were either T.IIIs or FB.VIs or the Australian or Canadian equivalent.
They should have flat screens.

The ex Glyn Powell B.IV is for sale and isn't yet completed.

Archer beat me too it - must type quicker...

Great to see another airworthy Mossie, would have to think based on the owners there would be plans to get PZ474 and NZ2308 flying together at some point?

From the vintageaviationnews.com article:

"The latter restoration of NZ2308 was completed by Avspecs and the Mosquito Aircraft Restoration team, for U.S. clients Rod Lewis and Charles Somers."

So is this a joint ownership of NZ2308? I was under the impression that NZ2308 was exclusively owned by Rod Lewis. Can someone clarify this statement?

Joint ownership at the present time AFAIK

My bad! I was thinking 'must not type a Lanc serial' and somehow I still did just that! I have corrected my typo

Funny that two entirely different types should survive (sorta with the Mossie) with almost identical serials. In my case A and Z are close enough on the phone keyboard to permit a typo!

Congratulations to the team at Avspecs for completing another beautiful Mosquito!

Reminds me of several close serials on Spitfire survivors. We have ML407 (airworthy), ML417 (airworthy) and ML427 (static, Birmingham, UK).

Congratulations to Avspecs on another airworthy Mosquito. I hope the B.IV gets a new owner and gets completed, best looking Mosquito variant IMHO.

I believe there was a WIX thread at one point on surviving warbirds with consecutive serial numbers like Lancaster FM212 & FM213 or Tigercats 80374 & 80375

Mosquito PZ474 owned by Charles Somers is even closer in serial to Hurricane IIC PZ865 operated by the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, and of course is the final Hurricane ever made.
