[quote="TAdan"]Here are a couple more bikes that caught my eye at the event. Not sure on the authenticity, just thought they looked cool.

The US Navy battleship grey bike is also mine. The markings are from the Naval Air Modification Unit at Johnsville, PA, which was an active air station during WWII. I usually bring the yellow US Army Air Corps Schwinn motorbike as my primary means of transportation around the flight line, and the Grey unmotorized bike is my back up. I also have an industrial Worksman trike that is motorized and painted USN Battleship Grey, with NAS Willow Grove Transient Line Crew markings. It has a big steel box on the back with the engine underneath and comes in handy making deliveries to the flight line volunteers, or carrying my camera equipment on the flight line. If I'm using the trike, I'll let other volunteers use the two bicycles. I get a lot of compliments on all three.

I'm curious, are these paint jobs based on anything from period photos?

This webpage has a photo of the jeep which inspired the paint job I used on my airshow bike: http://wwiijeepparts.com/Archives/WW2FollowMeJeep.html
