This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Thanks Bill, Steve Gustafson (Aeroshell 3) is old friend of mine. I actually flew with him on his first air show flight.

Great shots.
Keep an eye open for more Howards.
A blue and white one passed through here last week in his way to Oshkosh. He was aying there may be 7 or 8 there this year.If you can get photos of them al, that would be great.
They're rapidly getting to be one of my favorites.

Been loading more pics to my facebook page. And a reminder that you don't need a facebook account to see them.
Enjoy!

Nice shots...I love the O-1 lineup.
And a accurately painted L-17....I had given up hope of ever seeing one.

Kind of surprised no one has commented on the pretty rare AEROSUBARU/BONANZA -San.
As usual great stuff thank you for thinking of the rest of us

Nice looking Legacy flight - too bad they couldn't put a Corsair or Wildcat up with it too

Thank you Sabremech for all your OSH photos but especially the PT-19! That is owned by a dear friend of mine. I was at YIP today to welcome her back with a bunch of her friends. This PT will also be on static display at Thunder Over Michigan as it won Best Trainer at OSH. We all will be celebrating! Lovely photo!

The FJ was supposed to be in there, too, but it aborted on takeoff.

I can't believe they even bothered with the tarps.

You got some great shots of tarps - we might need them down here in Florida this year for Hurricane season.

Hopefully next year you'll be posting pics of an airworthy Mosquito! Bizarre tarp arrangement on her.

Bear in mind it's a wooden aircraft with a fabric and dope covering; and I'm sure hardly watertight after all these years - so the tarps would actually have done some good, as long as they didn't just trap or conduct water into the structure.
Sad to think it'll never fly again in that form.
