Helldiver showed up in time today to go on the press flight. Mark can sure fly a nice formation with that bird! Lancaster, B-25, Firefly and Helldiver down to Toronto! Looked great, Navy and the Air Force. P-40 is in the barn, the rest start arriving tomorrow.

Wouldn't an all CCF built formation be neat, Helldiver, Hurricane XII, Harvard. Or an all Candian built formation Lancaster, Lysander, Hurricane XII, Helldiver, Canso, Harvard, and throw in Cornell, Tigermoth, Finch.
I'm sure there are others I'm missing!

So the weather looks good, almost all on the list are on the ground in Hamilton!
The Vintage Wings Lysander has cancelled, and the Military Aviation Museum Avenger have not arrived as of this post (dark out too!) so will see what materializes in the morning.
Two B-17's Helldiver, P-40, P-51, Corsair, Hurricane, Spitfire, Wildcat, Skyraider, C-47, Nanchang, oh, and Wixer Cam with his Fleet 16B Finch as well as all the CWH aircraft, a T-33 , C-130, Sea King, CF-18 are also on display. T-33 is ex-canadian with a sharp looking shark scheme applied.
Come turn back time with us to the way it all began at CWH with a return to the Hamilton (Warbird) Airshow!

Just got home from flying my finch in the show

Sorry to hear about the Avenger, but glad it was only minor. The MAM aircraft looked fantastic. Chuckie looked immaculate. Thanks for the great effort your musuem made to support this airshow.

Glad we could be apart of your show, just wished i could have made the list to go.. maybe next time... i know my crew leader doesnt want to go to every show unless the Boss says he has to.... he'd rather i go lol.
We have been working hard on chuckie since our airshow ended, mainly my crew leader and myself except for the 3-4 days before the show we grabbed another crew to help take of some things that the 2 of us just couldnt get done on our own. she fought us towards the end with different things but we fixed them and she had a last run up at about 1615 on thursday when she was running and sounding great to us. hope to see some pics of her out there, just wish we could have finished the bomb bay racks and stencils but her running well and not leaking as much.. down to very few drops was above making her fitted out.
