He did'nt fly Lady Jo by himself and there was no danger to the plane or him other than what is normal for an experienced pilot on the course.
What seems to be forgotten is the hype used by Spike (and any "reality" based show) to get people to watch. They pump a non-event into a near death experience to get viewers.
I'm just glad a little publicity is happening for the races. They need all they can get.

Wow, I didn't know the "American Air Force" decommissioned the P-51 in the 1980's. Silly me, I thought they last flew in the 1950's. I was alive back then, how come nobody told me about the P-51's in the boneyard at Davis-Monthan in the 1980's."
Well, not to be a stickler, but, didn't the Dominicans operate Mustangs well into the early 80's? So technically, this would be correct.

Jesse is a very smart man.
If anybody watched his actions on the Celebrity Apprentice show last spring they would've seen a very shrewd and savvy business man.
My opinion of him was very similar to what everyone's been posting here, but it changed after I watched how he worked out the problems they were given in Trump's show.

He also said he was done with TV after Monster Garage, but he's back for the cameras again apparently.

I've already considered that, but because it mentions the "American Air Force", it implies that they operated them into the 80's not the Dominican Republic. It doesn't make the distinction, so the average ignorant viewer will not know the difference.
