This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Quite simple. Uprate some pilots.

Oh dear ...guess you cant see that can you?

Care to show where i suggest NON pilots should be trained to fly such Mustang aircraft?

Your making that statement up now fella.

Most pilots last time i looked require licesnes and ratings. Did that slip your mind?

Yeah, they could spend thousands and thousands of the films budget to do that, or they could buy a few masks.

I presume you meant the 3 letter abreviation for Japanese, Shoki? It's automatically converted now.

And yes, I see he's arguing the other side of the coin this year, too!

Not to get too off topic here, if that's possible, but I never saw the abbreviation as an insult..unless it was
accompanied by a slur...however, times change. I'm Irish, German, French and Scot...but not thin skinned.

I lived in Japan for six years I would'nt say it in a public place. A deregotary term is the preception of the person on the receiving end not the user.

please stop feeding the troll, this is a ridiculous waste of time

If flyingheritage is so worried about this, he could go buy the necessary warbirds, and find and train the correct pilots/actors to represent the original fighter pilot's. Heck, if he does that, I'll mantain them for free.

Remember though, they'll have to join the Screen Actors Guild to be legal.

Are you kidding me? Obviously there is a total lack of experiance and knowledge within the premise of this whole thread.......Why in the world would any of us let a total stranger fly our airplanes? Seriously, we should allow some wanna be "actor fighter pilot guy" to get a quick check out and then give him our P-40 just so movie viewers and reviewers can call the movie a little more authintic to the viewing audience? It takes passion to earn the right to fly these fighters....flying them is real life, not a movie .You seem to advocate taking short cuts in the learning process in order make a film...that's the kind of thinking that gets people killed.

This is by far the most ridiculous position I've seen a person take on this board.
