Maybe I missed it earlier, but are you using an extended tripod or monopod to get those shots looking down?

I am using a tripod, raised to the max, and then set a 3-5 sec exp.

Chris,
These are great! Are those pictures of the tower at Wright-Patt or Framlingham?

Thanks to everyone for the great comments. I am really glad that you all enjoy my pics. I really love taking them. It is nice to hear good things after you look like a dork walking around with a tripod and stuff. As for Karen, I really lucked out with her. She is beautiful, funny, has an intoxicating laugh, went to the NMUSAF and actually had a great time, and asked good questions. She loves to go flying, and owns her own Oldsmobile 442!! So she digs muscle cars. I am thrilled to be with her.

I really like that P-39 display. I have a great appreciation for the young men that flew the Northern Route delivering planes as part of the Lend-Lease program. Very cool!

Cheers,

David
