I was just on the F-14 forum, which is made up of pilots, crew, and fans of te F-14. Many of these men were on hand when filming was being done. Val Kilmer, "Iceman" is the only actor that did not fly. Tom Cruise flew in the F-14 three times. One of the F-14 pilots said that he doesn't remember Tom ever getting sick. Many others did, and some just turned green.

Yep, could be. I'm sure you all can appreciate that perspective I have, having had Tom Cruise tell me what he did. If some of the say it's in the DVD showing him flying in an F-14, then I guess I'd have to say maybe he just didn't recall it for some reason. Maybe he really did lose his mind when he jumped up and down on Orpah's couch!

Ok, just to put it to rest, I checked out the DVD. P-51 this was not to slam you, just to make sure I am not losing my mind that I had seen this on one of my DVD's. He did fly in the Tomcat. It is on the special features DVD.

Actually if you watch the version of the movie, on the DVD, where the director (and others) are commenting, you'll hear the director come right out and say that he selected haircuts, dialog etc. to expressly indicate the homoerotic effect he wanted.
