Spitfire Repairs and Update

May I make a suggestion regarding Bill's Spitfire? After they complete the damage assessment, why not post a list of parts needed for the rebuild? Maybe some WIX'rs can help find some of these parts worldwide and help save some costs.
Another idea is to have some shirts made up, both airshow T-shirts and some high quality golf shirts that have some kind of TE-308 Spitfire logo. Maybe they could be sold on the Wix, with a portion of the proceeds going towards the rebuild. I would buy a couple. It has to be the most famous Spitfire in North America.
A golf or flying hat with a small Spitfire logo would be really nice, too.

Hey wasn't there a guy building new Spitfires with serial numbers starting were the production left off? I was told the by an instructor at Simuflite that used to work up in Addison,TX that theirs is one of those.

About hate mail, The only hate mail I can find around anywhere comes ready signed by Peter Arnold or Mark12 or PeterA Your all these people in one go.

They got copies of some emails, plus copies of letters, plus what you have said on chat rooms and something very special I cant give on here, all have got your name on in some way.
People have told of phone stuff as well, specially from Canada, France and crash recovery blokes.

Using the excuse that PeterA uses, these Spitfires are in the public domain now, you think that lets you slag people off. But as you have put talk of hate mail in chat rooms in the public domain now all by yourself, I say I was shown a long letter sent in about Peter Arnold and Mark12, and dont disagree with most of it.
They recon your now trying to get 'anonymous' hate mail stuff what you plant in chat rooms to stick to them by association.

Ive seen lots of stuff in chat rooms by you, in some you talk about yourself like you are different people Mark12 talking to Peter Arnold etc, whats all that then, another smoke screen of some kind your trying to plant? all very suss stuff.

Why are you so obsessed about what other people want to do or dont do, you say to much to many people and I recon it might just come to bite you, your mistake is, they have friends as well.

This stuff is all new to me as I have not had a computer long and I am learning how to do it.
I used to only just read on here, then joined and put my first item on, only for a few people here to have a go at me so I checked out a whole lot of stuff.
Ok How do I put quote on ? I tried cut-paste but it was not right. I know Ive got skills to learn but dont need people having a go.

Those here who have read your post will undoubtedly be rather confused.

However, I am in a position where I am able to say that I have personally seen examples of the anonymous poison-pen hate mail about Peter Arnold sent to two very prominent players in the warbird and historic aviation world. The contents are clearly the rather sad ramblings of a mentally ill individual. That said, the content and nature of these missives over several years are litigious and cannot be set out here. However, I do know that Peter Arnold has risen above it since the campaign started eight years ago and I feel that forum members, 100%, will share the same contemptuous regard for those who resort to anonymous hate mail and a total disregard for the credibility of anything contained therein.

Returning to the subject matter of the two Turkish Spitfires, forum members are understandably keen to see photos of them and to know more of the progress. As a stakeholder in the project(s) you are clearly best placed to satisfy that interest. If no photograph is forthcoming then it would be interesting to know that you have actually seen the Spitfires concerned. As things stand, it seems clear to me that you have not seen the hate mail sent to Peter and I am not entirely convinced you have seen the Spitfires either. I hope for your sake you have not invested money in something you have not seen!

Finally, I note that the identity or handle of individuals exercises you somewhat. I deduce this from your comments about Peter Arnold's forum identities. For the sake of clarity, I am happy to reveal my identity as Andy Saunders. I have nothing to hide here. On the other hand, however, we only know you, Mr Tank, as Panzer.
