Ah yes! I am on my travels in the Southern hemisphere.

A Mk V. A very late Mk V, built at the transition overlap with Mk IX's and incorporating the individual exhausts for that extra couple of MPH and the extened horn on the elevator. Serial likely to be in the JK or MH range.

With only one roundel, logically a ex USAAF retruned to the RAF fold and passed on...Free French etc.

On my return to my files I should be able to make a sporting stab at the RAF identity.
