This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Im new to this site and admittedly no where near an "expert" to warbirds but i have and always have had a love for them and hope to learn a lot from everyone with intelligence in here. dont cut out because of losers that only lift themselves up by trying to put down what others say. these are the people that wouldnt have the guts to say anything to anybody in real life so they talk smack from behind a keyboard. I hope you have a change of heart and stay, it seems like you have a lot of people with a lot of love and respect for you. I hope to learn more from you.

Stiff upper lip "Old Boy"........Don't leave because of others ignorance.....I don't know you, but have read a lot of your written thought....no need to stop contributing, there are a lot of us out here that appreciate your experience...and it ain't all bad to agree to disagree...hell, I've been married for quite some time...my wife hasn't quit yet! Hang in there man...you got my vote! gary

The first 30 posts contained one negative comment, and 25+ positives, plus the idea of running a poll, which has been also overwhelmingly positive.

Yet John's response has been to respond only to the negative remark and basically ignore the 90% positive feedback. I'm curious as to why bother focussing one the vastly outnumbered negative? (BTW - anyone who defines their 'manliness' by internet behaviour... )

It's interesting that the issue was festered and caused the problem, not mainly here, but on the OT forum; again, sticking to warbirds avoids people falling out, or vice versa.

Here's hoping you stay john,

I've enjoyed the aviation posts and dialogue and think we can have
room for everyone. I am optimistic folks can get along.

Alright, I have to say something here and it might make some of you unhappy. I think if he wanted to leave, fine. Going and deleting all of his posts was ridiculous. Yes, I said ridiculous. Now what he has done was taken threads that made sense and taken chunks of the conversation out. So much for making sense anymore. Thanks alot...

Sometimes, it's better to just go. I think by making that last post and deleting his posts is childish and immature. *I* am here to talk about warbirds and history, not read four pages of someone's belly-aching.

Can we get back to aircraft now?

Agree with the last comment. Why are any of these threads necessary? Ego massaging??? If any one wants to leave, don't announce it, just do it!
I for one have never visited the OT forum, I come here and have done since the day Scott picked up the baton when the WWW forum closed years ago, to chat about Warbirds......the rest is crap and should be done by PM, private email or some other appropriate forum.
I am sure Scott has better things to do than wade through the ever increasing B.S.
