Ok,
I am looking for some details about fridays parade, like route and times.
I looked all over the intenet and there is alot of talk but no specifics.

Any info on gatherings or food or anything?
I see the ASB guys are getting together for dinner on Friday, but i am interested in the parade, maybe we could find a spot on the parade route and all do something?

The "Thunder Over Michigan Air & Ground Parade" will take place again this year in downtown Belleville on Friday August 6th, from 7:00 pm - 7:45 pm. The parade normally runs down Main St, but because of current road construction it will take place on Church St instead. (one street over to the west) Also, we normally run the air and ground parades during the same time and on the same parade route, but for this year we will instead have the air parade take place over Belleville lake once the ground parade is finished. (7:45 pm - 8:00 pm)

Glen taking I-75 to I-94 is out of the way. Take 23 south to I-94 and go east. Willow Run is only a few miles down 94 from 23. It's a straight shot.Don't bring any of that Texas heat with you!

This will be my first Thunder and I was wondering about this too. Do they let you in on Friday?

I know Liberty Belle left Buffalo yesterday for Detroit. And according to Flightaware, Yankee Lady and Thunderbird should already be there as well as the DC-7.

They don't let you in on Friday unless you prepay and are one of the lucky 50. It is really unfortunate that they don't allow more people to attend and that the admission price is so high for an arrival day. :(

Seeing Texas Raiders fly around town all week is getting me really excited for Saturday! Let's hope it's not as humid as it's been around here lately.

Everyone fly safe and drive safe. I'm shutting down for the weekend and hope to see many of you at TOM.

B-17 teaser pic. A look back at 2005 show.
Hard to believe it was 5 years ago already.
Looking forward to seeing and hearing 8 B-17s with 32 engines running. 8)
