Not only six P-47's flying together, but three Spitfires flying together as well (pretty darn rare for an air show outside of the UK)!

Probably one of the best warbird air show planned flying lineups I have ever seen! SIX P-47's in formation and the Bremont Horsemen doing performances in THREE Mustangs AND THREE Sabres! How can you beat that!

Can't wait!

:D

Just seen on Facebook that both P-47's "Wicked Wabbit" & "Hun Hunter" are scheduled to be at Chino...

Actually, it says that Hun Hunter is scheduled to attend but that Wicked Wabbit will not.

Knowing what you know after this last post, can anyone list what the (6) T-Bolts flying will be made up of? ... If it still will be six.

My guess?

1. POF
2. Rod Lewis
3. Hun Hunter
4. Friedkin
5. Palm Springs Air Museum
6. Tallimook

There's also the possibility of Westpac's P-47 being one of them (I don't think the PSAM's Thunderbolt is currently active, though I would love to be shown otherwise). Friedkin's P-47G is already at Chino for the air show. Besides the 6 P-47's in the air, there was some talk about having eight on display on the tarmac (the two statics being Yank's P-47D and YP-47M).

My guess:
1. Spirit of Atlantic City NJ (POF)
2. Snafu (Friedkin)
3. Hun Hunter (TNMoA)
4. Ball's Out (Rod Lewis)
5. 78th FG (WestPac)
6. Hairless Joe (Tillamook)

Would love to see this/be part of it. Maybe I can convince the wife to fly out and see it.

What about the three Spitfires? CAF Mk.XIV I figure, but the other two? Candidates would seem to be Friedkin Mk.IX, Friedkin Mk.XIV, Lewis Mk.V, Sessions Mk.IX. It's all wholesome Spitfire goodness, but I'd love to see "Marion".

The Friedkins also have a Spitfire Mk.V in Texas (Robert Stanford Tuck markings) - I'd too love to see it and/or the Lewis Mk.V at the show (both would look superb together!).

I'd expect the wooden Allison-powered replica from Arizona to be one of them.

Marion....how I'd love to see that bird in the flesh!

It sounds like a great airshow guys, I wish I could be there! At least I can drool over all the photos posted here.

Photos are great but video is even better, here's a nice flash back to last years show

I'll be shooting video to help the museum out this year, so hopefully I'll have some good stuff to post up.
