That evening we had another interview to do. Another WWII vet from the 56th FG. This time after a long day I decided to sleep in the car as Zack did the interview. Little did I know I would send the local community watch into action as they thought I died in the car. True story. We then went over to the bomber and had dinner. After that great nap, I was hungry enough to eat my whole Bomber Burger!! The waitress is seen here giving me my award.

After this we started our drive down the California Coast through the red wood forest and down the Pacific Coast Highway to SanFran. Very cool and beautiful drive.

The next day we took in the Castle Air Museum. Impressive collection. We drove from there down to see Preston's Pride in Tulare, then over to Chino.
