I really enjoyed listening to all the Wix members on the Warbird Rescue Show broadcast via the podcast. It is nice to hear the voices of some of the personalities here on the forum. It sounds like you were all having a great event. Well done to Zach and Jenn and family (it was nice to hear the younger generation also getting involved too!).

Now, did anyone get a photo of that Tommy's Hotdog Salad? I'm still baffled by it... :?

Thanks so much to Zach and Jenn for hosting another wonderful and fun party! Always a highlight of Oshkosh! The radio show was so interesting and fun!

I forgot to talk about my first year of volunteering for Warbirds in the Volunteer Kitchen. They serve over 300 volunteers at breakfast and lunch for a week. It was so much fun and I met so many interesting, really nice people. Most of all, it made me feel involved in Warbirds and AirVenture. If anyone is interested in going to AirVenture and thinks it is just too expensive, try volunteering. For 20 hours of work, you get a week's pass, a parking pass, all your breakfasts and lunches, and several dinners, including a ticket to the Saturday Night Banquet. Lots of the volunteers camp out in Warbird Camping. So many volunteers have done it for years and love coming and seeing their friends each year. It's like Camp for Adults!

Is that Evelyn from Tommy's Hotdog Salad in the bikini?

Can someone please put names to the faces in this photo? I recognise Al Sauer from his avatar but no-one else.

Thanks.

Truly a great time at this year's event... Thanks to Zack and Jen for making it happen (and Evelynn).
