Wow, really a remarkable resemblance that I'd never noticed before. On top of that, Cooper is an excellent actor. I think you're on to something here!

Oh HECK YEAH. Good call on that! I wouldn’t hold my breath on this film, as I’m working on a film that appears to be in pre-production limbo due to funding. I’ve heard through my sources that a few big-budget films might never get to a theater or DVD player due to lack of money for completions. For example, the “Red Dawn” re-make. Nobody is putting money into film completion right now, and NO Chinese investors (the source of a lot of movie funding these days) will invest in a movie that show China invading the USA. Still, maybe this might indeed explain the noise on a Flying Tiger movie, now that I think on it. Such a film showing a famous cooperation between the US and the Chinese? Hmmm….

what other movies has he directed??
Loads of crap like Broken Arrow; Mission Impossible II; Windtalkers; Face/Off and a pile of Hong Kong cop movies. He likes massive exposions and implausible plots, plus enjoys using terrible b-movie actors like Nicolas Cage and John Travolta.
Think how bad Windtalkers was, well this is how a Flying Tigers film directed by him is likely to be. Mind you, the yank audiences seem to like his style for some reason.

that more than answers my question & explains why cage killed more enemy in windtalkers than the a-bomb!!

I'm not particularly happy about what he says either, but he does support the warbird movement and it will gain increased focus and attention on the AVG and our Veterans. That, to me, is a good thing. If we were to avoid movies that had some connection to viewpoints that were not popular to most warbird enthusiasts, then we would probably never see another Hollywood movie. I just keep my boycotting to the most extreme examples of Hollywood that I don't like - Cruise is not one of them for me.
You seem as opinionated as Mr. Cruise himself.

Like they say, everyone has one!
That doesn't mean I'm trying to change anyone else's, but rather just trying to understand different viewpoints.
