Warbird Information Exchange

I don't remember what plane was pictured, but I have a large collection of popular mechanics and others, and I remember at least one showing a plane with a boat under it. it would drop to people in water. Now thinking of it, it may have been a b-17. I will have to see if I can find some pics and scan them.

Consider this... she was probably born about the same time that PBY was originally built. In other words, she's as old as it is (and here we are approximately 60 years later!!!)
