Thanks for the link with pictures. I’ve been following the progress of these planes for many years and it finally looks like we’ll see them on the airshow circuit. I was getting excited a few years ago when Jay Thines (sp) had one started here in Chandler AZ and thought we’d get to see it flying around, but that went no where.
While looking at the pictures of the 190 I noticed how much the pitot tube is angled down, it almost looks like it’s at too much of an angle. I always knew of the angled down pitot tubes of the German planes but that one look excessive.

Boy! Combine that with a B-17 or B-24 flight with old vets on board might bring back some very BAD memories! Something about the look of the 190 makes Butcher Bird seem appropriate.
