Words alone would not be adequate to express my gratitude to you all. I am saddened by the number of "greatest generation" members we loose on a daily basis.

From the guys who made sure our troops were supplied, to the guys who kept them fed, to the ones who built and fixed their equipment, and to the guys who fought and died in the mud, on the sea, and in the air, they are all my heroes. Your outpouring of love and gratitude is what makes WIX so rewarding.

The last two days are pretty much a blur. But I can tell you that my two brothers and my mother have shared moments of laughter and moments of tears - every bit of it good! Saturday we will celebrate the life of our own personal hero, and we shall wish him God speed.

I will return to work next week, safely delivering my passengers from point A to point B, always cognizant of the fact that a great man encouraged me to reach for the sky.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Craig. God Bless and may your heart be healed in time.

It's been 31 years since my father passed at much too young an age. I remember him everyday and especially when flying. Even though he didn't think "girls" could fly, he has been there with me in spirit during the good flights and more so protecting me during the really bad ones.

We must limit politicians to two terms:
one in office and one in jail.
