This is gonna be fun

Here I am as a young lad with my Lego blimp

Next up is playing in my first band (I'm on the left and I have naturally curly hair)

And to make up for that here's one playing in my last band after I stripped my guitar and repainted it with Testors Olive Drab spray paint.

Peavy and Carvin are decent.

I know I should just let this thread fade away, but I can't help myself.

My Dad and me, 1961. Dad was in the Navy Reserve at that time.

Image

Me with a big bass that I caught (I think) in 1971 at my grandparents' place in the Ozark mountains in Missouri. The fish went 7 lbs. Not big by most peoples' standards, but I was pretty happy!

Image

Senior Prom, 1976. I guess my date was impressed. We're still "an item"! 8)

Image

Graduation, 1976. I assure you, I wasn't stoned. I always looked like that! Believe it or not, my parents made me get a haircut so that I'd look presentable at the ceremony!

Image

Cheers!

Ok not so much cool as looking like I've been dragged backwards through a combine harvester! It is cool in one way as I had just flown solo in the Cub beside me (first solo in a REAL aeroplane with a tailwheel and everything!)

Nice 'thread necromancy', Jack!

Here's my groovy 70s/warbird pic. I wasn't so much cool, because I was probably 6 years old here -- the mop-haired munchkin on the left.
