That looks to me like a P-39! And I would venture a GOOD guess its CAF's based in San Marcos? Correct me if I'm wrong. I've seen them use the P-63 in the Tora act but its a little indisposed at the moment so that rules that out! :P Heck I have even seen them use Howards Bearcat to chase the Zero's in the act :!: :!: :!: How weird is that :o

Not as weird as a P-51 chasing them! I'm a P-51 fan, but that's just wrong...

And--------------not as weird as Merle Gustafson in his Corsair chasing Steve Gustafson, & I around in Steve's T-6 when it had a Luftwaff paint scheme many years ago at a show in Beaumont TX.

It was, indeed, the CenTex Wing, CAF's P-39 which is shown in the photos in this thread. Ron "Iceberg" Iberg was driving it.

The P-64 and Kate do fly a small routine at some shows. We were unable to get two replica Tora birds out of our hangar for the Jasper, TX show, so we were able to get them to stand in for us. The Jasper folks were very pleased with our substitutes.

Now Robbie, you know that those weren't Luftwaffe markings on Merle's T-6. Those were plainly Austrian markings on it. They said so at Airsho over the loud speakers. I watched Steve fly his first airshow that day, I bellieve he was 18, Merle flew his routine in Angel of Okinawa that day.
