Well Mudge,

Why don't you go out and get us all the A6Ms, Kates and Vals needed for an authentic IJN attack on Midland?

Well Tony...why don't you...wait...I can't say that here, can I?

Mudge the censored

You might be surpirsed. I took my girlfriend (now my wife) for the first time in 1999. We stayed in Camp Scholler like I have every year since I was about 8 or 9. I'm 37 now. Anyway she was nervous about how close the group next to us had set up their stuff. I told her it was no big deal and we had plenty of room. The next day we got to know the group next to us a little better. They were from Kahlefornia. The oldest member of the group was particularly interesting. He grew up in Iowa and recieved his first airplane ride from a barnstorming Charles Lindberg. We had a great time with them. She was captivated by the whole scene. 1999 was the year of the Corsairs/Bearcat accident and we were in the front row for that.
It did not keep us from coming back, in fact the next year, her Mom and Dad, and Sister's Family joined us and we've been taking up a growing piece of real estate each year since.

We were all in the front row with our kids for my friend Gerry's accident last year.

It took some time, but I am really starting to look forward to that Wednesday in a few weeks when we load up and head to OSH.

Hope to see you there sometime.
