As for the B-32, its significance is not that it "fought", but that it was the low tech solution to the possible problem of the B-29 not working out. If every aircraft that traded bullets in battle was significant, then the meaning of the word significant would be somewhat diminished....

Its a cool plane, but not the varsity when it was built or entered service. It finally flew in combat in 1945, but look and compare the B-29's development and acheivements with it.
