Along with the many excellent photos folks have shared here, the latest EAA newsletter had a link to some more, with many of the legends pictured (the captions share their names and some brief history)

http://www.eaa.org:80/gallery/mustangslegends/

As one simple spectator at the show, I thought it was amazing and a very well done event.....the best part was sharing it with my kids. The 2nd best part was the excellent access to mingle and admire amongst the machinery without any "attitude" from event staff and owners alike (ie; no banners and other stay- back paraphenelia). I thought there were plenty of food (albeit expensive like any other airshow food) and facilities. The airshow kept moving and had just the right combo of acts. An awesome day was had.

My 4 year old wants to know why we don't have a P-51? I told him it's on the list after daddy gets his Corsair!

With regards to the EAA photos: it is truly amazing to see the look in the eyes of the veterans. A couple of the photos show how a man shakes hands...by looking one in the eye. Absolutely the Greatest Generation!

Yes, I finally got around to posting some of my pictures from the show. I feel so behind on my pictures it is not funny! These are shots of all the Mustangs that were there and 99% are static shots. I guess a roll call if you will page. I’m working on more shots and I hope to have them soon. Enjoy

Nice shots Tim!

For entertainment, a couple different Mustang sights spotted that weekend.
Brian, (Waltz41) forced me to take this first one.

Tim,
Thanks for sharing some more great pictures, just when I really needed it - on a drizzly, icy, nasty Monday morning here in Beautiful Downtown Natick, MA.
Particularly like the 4 ship formation with 3 of the 4 props looking in sync.
