I read something at the begining of this thread about lurkers and hiding behind the screen etc. The internet can be a spooky place. You need to watch out where you are posting your real name. Cause if you do say something that makes the wrong person mad. It is very easy for them to figure out where you are. I refuse to give personal information on the net, especially in these forums. It's bad enough that you leave an ISP trail unless you are using a proxy software. So don't judge a person by not wanting to use their real name on here. Gosh read the thread about how people had their aircraft trashed at airshows. If they can't respect you in a setting like that, how will they in these forums where they can be anonymous?

How I hate to add to this thread because I honestly haven't read all the postings on it but from the title I figure I'd put my two cents in.

I've done a lot of lurking lately, mainly because of the ranting and arguing and because much of the "aviation subject matter" is out of my scope of knowledge.

I just want to suggest we leave the "arguing" topic alone and just go about our business of discussing what counts... Warbirds.

I've been avoiding all the argument topics and like Mudge I also move to the next thread the instant there's "childish" arguing.

So, let's all get past this and go about our business of discussing what we love. And, if we disagree, agree to disagree. If you need to insult someone.... well, avoid it, but if you need to get it off your chest, PM. That was also a suggestion from another WIX'er, but I forget who. Good idea though.
