great pictures! Working at the show I don't get to see the planes fly, so I really appreciate getting to see your pics.

Pilotgrl24,
How's about a blowup of the picture of you and Briefing Time?
Thu Jun 07, 2007 7:30 am
Yeah, those crappy low resolution photos just arn't enough.
I kid, I kid.

It's a really bad picture. I don't think you would want to see a blown up version of it! Besides, I don't know how to post pictures

I just noticed you're from Reading. When I was in the Old Guard I had a pal from there. Can't remember his last name for the life of me (he was a civilian)
And nobody is going to go blind, thank you very much
It's a neat pic and I'm glad to have it! what is that you're wearing? It makes me think 1940's...*gets ready to duck*

I hope it's OK but, I just finished dealing with all of the pictures I took on 6/3 at MAAM World War II weekend and wanted to post a few.
If you want to see the rest of them, they are up on a webpage here -

If you see anything mislabeld, please let me know.

Just as a point of historic interest. Seeing Pilotgrl24's photo made me
wonder if this was ever mentioned here before. The pin-up in the nose
art on the B-25
Breifing Time is the same as the pin-up that appeared
on a P-51 flown by the 352nd FG.
Below is a photo of
Hot Stuff flown by Major W.O. Jackson.
Major Gignac was killed by flak in the a/c while flying straffing missions 7 June 1944.

Great picgture that's neat to see the girl on another airplane. The pin up girl was January 1944 she is a Vargas girl.

Regarding the Bf-109, it was stuck in Bradford with a bad right brake. The Bf-109 and Hurricane diverted to Bradford Friday afternoon when a line of Thunderstorms prevented them from arriving at Reading. When the Bf-109 brake problem was discovered upon landing in Bradford, the Hurricane pilot decided to fly on to Reading on Saturday. The Russell Group worked all day Saturday trying to fix the brake problem and made several taxi tests but decided that they could not fix the problem and determined that it was just too dangerous to attempt to fly on to Reading. I just thought everyone might want to know why the Bf-109 did not make it to WWII Weekend.

Not sure what you are talking about. I live a mile from the Bradford county airport and no ME 109 was there from what I was told.
