Hi all, Fieseler enthusiasts!
I'm ashamed that I have missed this interesting post from the begining. I have been for long a Fieseler buff and would like to answer some of the questions posted here.
I'm the proud owner of 4471 one of Mr. Mullers Storchs, it was wrecked in 1998 and for the last few years has been in slow reconstruction process and soon will be moved to southwestern Michigan. The MS505 from New Orleans found a new worthy owner 3 years ago, it is being overhauled and a Jacobs will power it, Katrina slowed the process but David will have it running soon. CF+TF is still in California, powered by a Lyco 540, has a new owner in NV and it is the same that will go to Norway later this year. Murray Kott's Storch from Canada has long been sold and resold, now in Greece... The PIMA's Storch is on a long term loan, not to be airworthy again but the staff at PIMA just finished recovering it in Italian WWII Markings and now on display...more on next post..

I'm assuming the photo from the UK posted by Consul is one of the Storch projects now owned by Peter H., ex- Lacey RLM Collection?
I would like to know where the Storch at Chino came from and ownership. Besides mine and the mentioned D model from the CAF and the MS-505, there are a few other restoration projects in the USA, Fighter Factory, one in TX and one in NV. Also a couple in Europe and one in Australia. So soon a few more Storchs will be airworthy. If anyone has additional Fieseler information or interest, you can contact me at aze@qtm.net

Cheers!

Oscarstorch,
Are you going to be keeping it at the "Dogpatch" Airport? Please let me know, my parents live in Edwardsburg and I usually get up there once or twice a year. I would love to share your fuel "expense" some day.

Not sure if it was mentioned yet but Kermit flies his pretty regularly, it is one of his preferred aircraft for putting around the area. Last time my dad was in Polk City Kermit gave him an aerial tour of his property with it and said it was one of the most fun aircraft he had ever flown in.
