I'd have to go with Jack, with Gary as the close (& I mean real close) second.

The title of this thread is 2006 MVP. While Gary's thread is without a doubt the champion when it comes to views, it's only been running since Oct. Jack however, has been posting his one-of-a-kind photos all year (& then some).

If this was for MVP of the Quarter, I'd give it to Gary. But since it's for MVP of 2006, has to go to Jack.

Sorry Gary, I love your work too. But...

That's an excellent point! That's why I nominated Jack myself. :D

OK, another vote for Gary.

Sorry Jack!

The play-by-play with what he’s working on is an amazing use of the medium. Plus, he posts pictures of cats.

For the year, I gotta go with Jack.............

I'm afraid I'll have to vote for Gary as well....as I told him today, outside of Jenna Jamison he's got the hottest thread on the Web! However, neither Gary nor Diamond Lil look quite as nice....

Well it is pretty obvious that figuring out who the MVP is a difficult choice. I was going to run a poll but have decided to exercise a little executive privelage and choose the winner myself. As such, I declare a tie. Gary and Jack have both contributed a great deal to our community in 2006 and I think its only fitting that they share the title of Most Valuable Poster. So, each on will be recieving half a t-shirt as a thank you. Just kidding, they will each recieve a shirt (PM with your shirt size and mailing address's guys)

Thanks you two and to everyone else who makes this forum a community that is enjoyed worldwide.

Aw, come on Scott ! Make them share a shirt, Gary gets it on Mon, Tues, Wed, and Jack gets it Thurs, Fri, Sat.

I know,what about Sunday ? It's a travel day !

Sat Dec 23, 2006 12:35 pm

Thanks Scott and everyone else who thinks my posts were worth nominating me for.

I'm lookin' forward to getting the shirt, but if we gotta share it, then Jack better wash it in the "heavy duty" cycle before I get it!!!

IMHO,

It is some measure of just how good the best of WIX can be that we have two members who have shared so much information (and dare I say entertainment?) so freely on this forum that we can argue the merits of each, still value each of them and still all agree their contributions are equally important.

Thanks Scott, et al, for hosting this valuable internet resource.

And thanks to everyone who teaches me new things every week on this board, especially Jack & Gary.

Here's my best wishes to all for blue skies and a terrific 2007.
