Wings over Waukesha airshow this weekend: 3 P-51's, 7 or 8 T-6/SNJ's, EAA's B-17, a TMB, T-28, T-34, CT-133, T-37, A-1 Skyraider, F-86, and a few others. It was a nice show again this year with a great warbird flyover segment.

Saw the Collings Foundation flying around the Jersey Shore yesterday afternoon. Betty Jane and Witch Craft made some great low and slow passes along the beach in Asbury Park.

The Yankee Museum fleet provided me with a nice pass over the house...B-17, B-25, and C-47. Returning home from runway dedication in Erie, PA. Love that engine noise.

I was treated to a NAVY T-45C Goshawk fly-over my home this evening.
Ran out to Tri-Cities Airport in time to catch the pilots exiting the plane.

Haven't seen it flying yet, but I just got back from lunch and noticed for the first time today, the "movie Memphis Belle" sitting on the main terminal ramp across the runway from the hangar where I'm currently working - at KBUY, Burlington-Alamance Co Regional Airport in central NC.

I didn't notice it first thing this morning, so I suppose that it just came in while I was at lunch, but there's absolutely no activity around it as I would expect if it had just arrived. Maybe it was here earlier and I just need to try some stronger coffee first thing in the morning - and it's a good thing that I'm not doing any "inspecting" today! (I'd hate to think what else I might have missed along the way!) :?

NOW I've seen it flying today - the "movie Memphis Belle" that is.

It just took off on Runway 24 at KBUY, circled around, and headed off toward the northeast from here. :D

First two Harvards from the Dutch Historical Flight in a holding pattern over Zeist in the Netherlands.
They were holding for rememberance ceremonies for operation Market Garden at former Soesterberg Airbase a couple of miles from here.
And then ten minutes later they returned on their way back to airbase Gilze-Rijen.
Almost 90 minutes after that an Apache helicopter from the Dutch Air Force in another holding pattern for more then 15 minutes going to the same ceremonies.
