That last one is undoubtedly the best.

That Aero Union P2V Neptune flew over the house again today. But this time, he gave a big ol' wing-wag as he went by. :D I was on my forklift, moving some parts around, when I saw it. At first I thought he was just avoiding other traffic or something, but nobody was flying in the area. Heck, he probably wasn't saying howdy to me at all, but with the PBY and the C-45 & C-97 bits I've got laying around the yard (which are pretty easy to see from the air), I can't help but think he saw them.....well that, and the fact I've got "Austin Acres" cut out of the grass & weeds that makes about a half acre billboard.

Yeah, now that I think about it, that ol' Neptune was surely waving to me. Well.....that's what I want to believe anyway. :-)

Well, I cannot fly anymore, so someone else will have to fly over and snap a picture. :-(

Saw a B-2 today circling for the Dodger's opening day.
Clouds cleared off when she left but I had put the camera back. 8)

I did a road trip to Knox County Regional Airport in Owlshead, ME over the past two days. While working the CE-560-XL I was there for I was treated to the sounds of a few of Owls Head Transportation Museum's aircraft flying the pattern. The weather this morning was chilly, but clear, gusting to 15. The first to go up was a Super Cub, then the Tiger Moth, a Stearman. After that I heard a runup of what I thought was going to be a flight of the Triplane, but it was running a little rough. Great day up there though, there was about a 6 inch pile of snow left on the edge of the ramp still.

At 7:15 CST two miles due East of the Farmington VOR I scrambled outside to catch a glimce of the source of the sweet sound of twin radials. It had to be the CAF's B-25 from So. St. Paul on a West, South-West heading and her shiny tail feathers glistening in the sun light! Beautiful sight and sound! Keep them flying!!! Hugh
