Saw Fifi today over KDKB. Looks like they are having to fly west to avoid the Chicago TFR. (I certainly don't mind.) She's actually drawing quite the crowd whenever she's out here.

Grumpy just passed overhead going to Abbotsford for the airshow there this weekend. Don't know if the SPITFIRE is there yet or not.

I just saw them headed home about 10 to 15 minutes ago.
Expect them over your head in 3, 2, 1... 8)

Into or out of KBLI? Figured they'd use Bellingham as customs P.O.E. Didn't see or hear them so must have gone down Puget Sound.

I'm about 1/2 way between Abbotsford and KBLI- north and a tiny bit east of Ferndale 'proper'. All I know is that I saw them headed south- along the same track I saw HFM's P-51 and AD-1 about 90 minutes prior. But keep in mind- that's not to say they went to BLI. I'm not quite close enough to be certain. Sorry 'bout that.

Adding to the 'outbounds-- a CP-140 flew by not long after the B-25 and Spitfire.
It was headed due West- right over my house at oh say 2500' or so.

Did that help perk up an otherwise humid, warm day?

A T-33 doing touch and go's @ McChord AFB this morning. Painted white or silver with a blue stripe, looked like NASA colors.

Steve Hinton earned his pay today, 93f and he was flying the heck out of the Il-2 while I was @ FoF @ KPAE this mid day. Now obviously he wasn't thrashing it, but the ALLISON was pretty mellow sounding, but with a completely different tone to it than the P-40-we aren't used to this much heat I about melted watching him.

A YAK-52 and a CJ-6 at a small field near me - Berkeley County Airport, in South Carolina. Had to go to the internet to be able to tell which one was which.

That was actually Jim Martinelli flying the IL-2. Steve's in Santa Rosa, CA at the moment for the air show this weekend. ; )

The IL-2's been building up some nice exhaust residue from all of the recent flights and engine runs!

Had two Coast Guard HC-130s (or maybe same one did a touch and go or a go around) come into MCO (Orlando International) this morning and a P-3 Orion come in tonight.

Yeah, the pods were a special project. The one on the right wing I believe was a camera rig and the one on the right is a cargo/travel pod that was weighted down to balance the load/drag to let the plane fly half decently. :)
