Good Deal, Tom! Just over 3 months to perhaps the BEST warbird show in the U.S. this year. Can't wait!

65 aircraft confirmed and still 3 months to go!

I expect there will be more additions.

Another banner year for T.O.M.

Cheers,

Tom Walsh.

Thanks for the update, Tom. I know that Michael and Kevin have done and are doing all they can to give us a terrific lineup of Naval warbirds and other warbirds for this year's show, and with 65 aircraft confirmed so far (I know - 7 of those are Blue Angels' Hornets...), there are at least 9 aircraft to be added to the list of 56 showing on the website. Michael and Kevin have announced these individually since the the aircraft list was last updated on March 13.

With 3 months to go I look forward to seeing a new list with these nine added and as many more as can be obtained between now and July. Keep up the great work.

Kevin recently posted this addition on the TOM facebook page.

"The 129th Rescue Squadron at Moffett Federal Airfield, California has the THUNDER OVER MICHIGAN Air Show on their schedule for the summer! The 129th flies the very rare MC-130P ‘Combat Shadow’ Hercules!"

Kevin just posted this addition on the TOM facebook page.

"Guess who else has THUNDER on their schedule? Patrol Squadron NINE (VP-9) the “Golden Eagles” from Marine Corps Base Hawaii! VP-9 flies the P-3C Orion and has a special CoNA painted aircraft in the markings of a decommissioned squadron, VP-6 the “Blue Sharks”."

Michael, Kevin, Tom,

I originally booked a two-week trip to the Midwest this summer because of a certain large aviation convention on the other side of Lake Michigan, but I'm ever so glad now that I'm arriving in time to attend ToM2011 - such a great line-up you've managed to bring together! (and some people are saying you're not even done yet :-))

A working WW II flamethrower will be demonstrated each day of the show as part of the Pacific ground battle.

Cheers,
