Even sitting here in my office, I enjoyed watching the Lysander arrive this morning. And in case no one misses it, it is great to see this article posted on the AirVenture front page, about Taylor and his L-5: http://www.airventure.org/news/2009/090728_l5.html

Congrats on the article Taylor! Next stop - the stage at the end of the week accepting your trophy/plaque/whatever they give out for your prize(s)! :)

Today was pretty close to perfect. To see a fifth P-40 on the field gave me the biggest grin. Hopefully I can get some pics done and posted. It's 1am and I just got home and need to sleep sometime. Taylor did an amazing job with that L-5! It's been a highlight for me so far. If it doesn't take home an award I swear i'll make one up for them.

I'll do the best I can with the spare time i've got. The rain gave me some free time today so we'll see how it goes. I'm sure others will help out too!

What you do is really appreciated by me and many others that can't be there as its like we are there.........

I also met Wixer Trey Carroll who flew a t-6 in on Friday. (Please don't grow up to be a Hopper!)

It was a nice day and I got a lot more photos when I have more time. I have to go now to see what ese I missed yesterday.

Looks like someone had a rough day

I am living vicariously through all of you at OSH this week while I'm stuck in my cubicle, watching the webcam whenever I can sneak a peak...

It's owned by Bob Baker, the same guy who has "Sweet & Lovely".

And a couple non-Warbird shots for those who are into that kinda thing.

Note about the A380 shot: This isn't a climbing out shot, this is a high alpha pass!
