Take a look at the field layout. The "battlefield" will be pretty far away from the main show area. It'd be quite a trek in the hot July sun to go watch the battle.

Halfway down someone has done a quickie-photoshop of how the general layout will look.

Mike Luther, 2 questions, please. Is there an 800 # that I could buy some tickets in advance for some friends in the area. Also, can one fly in for the day, do you have an idea of the schedule and times airport is closed? Thanks

That brings a tear to my eye, but is understood why it must be.

The sale of Photo Tour/Photo Pit passes over the past few weeks has really picked up.

Consequently, there are very few spots left for Saturday, July 7.

If you want to be included in the Saturday total, you should act without delay.

Cheers,
Tom Walsh.

Tom - we look forward to the updated aircraft list.

I am sorry we will not be able to enjoy seeing the US-2B Tracker from Norfolk again this year, but very happy that all of the 5 crew members are okay. I wish them the best in their recovery.

Also, wanted to mention that I was able to see the Sikorsky UH-34D Seahorse Marine helicopter from New York in action on Saturday, May 5 at Cherry Point, NC. First time I had seen or heard one of these vintage piston-engined beauties in flight in a long time.

It's a GREAT addition to Thunder's lineup, and I am sure everyone will enjoy seeing and hearing it fly.

:)

It should not be too much longer before we all know what level of support ACC will extend to Thunder.

Cheers
