Well they weren't flying but I saw three out of the four Dream lifters staged together as I was leaving work today. Unfortunately we cannot have cameras at work. Its unusual to see more then two together!

Looks like #3 on the B-17 is running a little fat...and/or has a bit of oil consumption going on.

Just got back from a deeeeeeeeelicious Philly cheesesteak lunch. . . and a B-24A flypast! We were sitting at a stop light, westbound on Arapaho Road a few blocks east of Central Expressway, and what did we see straight out the windshield in the gorgeous clear blue sky? Why, it was Ol' 927, in all her majestic glory, heading southeastward at perhaps 2500 - 3000 feet. Cheesesteak for lunch, Liberator for dessert. . . dang, I love Fridays. . . :D 8) :!:

Any of you CAF folks know where they were headed?

Cheers!

As I live under the flightpath of RAF Northolt I had the pleasure of seeing the Presidential Helicopters fly over the house a couple of times while he was in the UK.

Hey, I think I saw 927 in the air today while we were flying out in the College Station area! Does anyone here know what call sign they normally use when talking on the radio? I thought I heard Liberator 927 or something like that, but dismissed the thought.

Also saw a Nanchang up in Georgetown that I'll try to pull up a picture of tomorrow after the Poteet flight.

Ryan

Edit: After looking at Flight Aware I'm now convinced that's what we saw. Pretty neat. We were just out of range for my camera to be of any use.
