Nice shots Mint! One question? Has anyone ever had a polished P-47? How would it look? Has anyone ever done a P-51 with the acid brightening treatment like on the two Jugs? Would a P-47, SPitfire or P-40, look good highly polished?

I like the photshops too. JDK another to reasons why it can't be East Anglia 1944, East Anglia is as flat as a billiard table and its not raining!!

I have read many stories on the guys stationed in East Anglia, both US and RAF and they all seem to mention how miserable and wet it was most of the time! Mind you they want to come to Manchester. We get MEN'S rain!

Packing list for Randy - raincoat, umbrella, hat, scarf, gloves, lots of money (for gas, at $7 a gallon!). Oh, and don't forget to drive on the other side of the road!

Flying, being a CFI with stupid, uh, STUDENT pilots, driving in Louisiana and Alabama, daredevil bike ramp tricks as a kid, jumping off roofs like Superman and landing on my head (explains a lot, sayeth the wife) . . . nothing ever really scared the dog-squeeze out of me like driving on the wrong side of the road, in England.

I'm originally from Washington State, so hopefully that will make me prepared for the great Suffolk weather. The problem is that I've lived the last 12 years away from there in the South!!
That whole driving on the left side of the street is gonna throw me off in a big way.
All you UK'ers look out if you see me driving!
