The Air Force Museum was going to scrap the Starfighter, but that is no longer the case. It has found a new home just a short road trip northeast of Dayton in North Canton, Ohio at MAPS.

MAPS really is great at saving pretty rough and haggard airframes from scrapping. Good for them. I really hope they build a gigantic new hangar for all these aircraft they have outside most of the time.

Is the T-33 still there, or scrapped, or...?

MAPS does great work. They did a beautiful job with Walter Soplata's F-84F (among others). I wish they had a bigger facility, but they do a nice job of rotating aircraft in and out of the hangar and keeping paint fresh at least.
