True and then Triumph then used the Rocket3 engine and put the gear lever on the left hand side and it became the T160 as opposed to the T150.
Had a '75 T160, so did my step dad. Best looking Trident

I was in HS in '76, the groundskeeper had a Trident. He had a poster from NVT on the wall of his shed that had a Trident in the middle & all the other NVT bikes around the edge. You could read the engine # of the Trident on the poster, it was the one parked outside the shed

He used to race it, blew it up as 750, fitted a 860 kit, blew it up again, fitted a 930 kit & started winning races.
He left the school job shortly after that & became the groundskeeper at Goodwood.
