I read a comment years ago that it was like flying a block of flats.
Translated that means an apartment block. :lol:

It doesn’t need a hangar, as the long standing DAS airliner collection can testify!

At the moment what is needed is a suitable site, plenty of enthusiasm and plenty of money. And far be it for me to suggest what museums are in a position to offer such resources - but for all the effort and money that the RAF museum have put into ‘saving’ the apparently sole surviving Luftwaffe Dornier Do-17, there is no excuse for not doing the same for the sole surviving complete Blackburn Beverley.

And I would argue that the sale of just one of the collections axis aircraft would pay for it too!
