Was out at Dempsey's place the 1st of Sept 07....He was slapping the wings back on the C-47...Still has the L-18

And there are still 3 C-54 tankers

The C-131 is still there, the only thing I saw in the hanger was a C-150..There were a few scrap pieces and parts laying around down in the hollow...a radial engine, an old bent prop, misc. parts...didn't see any bomb doors though, or AT-11 or T-6 airframes...I'll ask Bill next time I go out there...Dodson Air Parts has moved from Ottawa to Rantoul, in fact , right across the street from Bill...They have a Lockheed Jetstar mounted on a pole there.

Thanks Gary for posting the pictures. I sent you a pm. I had previously spent some time googling for D & D Aero for some contact info, but no luck. I would love to see any old pics of the T-6s that were out there in the '70s if anyone has any they can dig up. Also interested in any history or the whereabouts of them. Any information is appreciated.

Jack
