I wasn't aware of any German aircraft carrier ideas but I would guess it would stand to reason with America and England using them effectively against the Reich. I always assumed that German shipbuilding was pretty much rendered useless with all the allied bombing. It would have been interesting to imagine what a German aircraft carrier at war would have been like, especially with the absence of support vessels, if they were ever able to put to sea. I don't think they would have been afloat for very long.
