Some random and quick shots taken during the weekend. I knew there would be plenty of great shots here. The old man and I we're more interested in enjoying the venue vs. taking a million pics. These we're taken in between the fun!

Chris, thanks for sharing this one. I've been kicking myself for not getting a picture of that Black Widow.

Did anyone get a nice static high-res shot of the polished/red SNJ that they'd be willing to email me? That was my photo plane for the SBD photo flight I flew on Friday night. I have pictures of all the photos planes I've flown in and simply forgot to take a picture of Buzz's SNJ.

The former Warbirds over Long Island T6. Is it former? Is there anything left from that group?

Hey Chris,

Unfortunately no they have closed up shop unofficially. Glamorous Gal was sold off as was the Stearman, which thankfully did not go far and is resident at Bayport Aerodrome on LI. The new owner also bought some vehicles from WOLI to adorn his new hangar. It's a shame really. I haven't heard anything about Chris Baranaskas regarding airshow flying lately. He was quite the accomplished Mustang pilot.

It will be a wonderful thing to see this veteran in the air again :D . I would like to ax about the wrinkled bottom portions of these vertical stabilizers  . Will these be inspected/corrected? pop2 The port one seems to have some serious wrinkles in it. I'm just axin' geek

Did the MAAM Avenger fly (White 4, the one restored by Jack Kosko & Crew)? I know it's being flown regularly these days, but haven't seen any pics of it from the World War II weekend yet.

I don't remember seeing it fly. Only the Liberty Aviation Museum's one from Ohio. A shame too since both were painted very similarly. Another missed opportunity was the two near identical post war USAF C-47s. One being from YAM.
