I entered a model like this in a contest years ago. A Bf-109G depicted on the factory ramp awaiting acceptance and delivery. Overall RLM76, with canvas covers over the cockpit, engine, propeller and wheels, and a hand written civilian aircraft code on the side. It was more or less in response to over-weathering, and people that spent $100 on resin and photoetch to tart up a $10 kit (which I will admit to also doing<G>)
