Scroll down to the bottom for additional Tallmantz Museum photos. As well as other good stuff. Nice site.

Great photos Mark! That's a shot of my father's KR-21 that I've never seen. Scott's website features a few B&W photos of it from The Carpetbagger's movie and he just alerted me to another shot of it on eBay when it was painted up like a French Nieuport. When it was sold at the Tallmantz auction in the late 1960s, it was painted in German WWII markings. I sure wish I had taken pictures of my one and only visit to the Tallmantz facility as a kid in the mid-1970s. I can't imagine the flying stories those two men could tell. Oh, to have been a fly on the wall of the local airport tavern where they hung out!

Very nice! Always cool to be able to find photos with a connection to someone. Makes it mean more.
On a FWIW note, my dad and Mantz had something in common as they both offered rides from sea planes. My dad owned a Republic RC-3 Seabee and gave rides to folks from Lake Superior in Northern Michigan for several years when I was very young.

Great subject. I guess a few of us would fork out the $3 for the San Francisco Bay air tour aboard the Sikorsky!

Any shots of the "flight of the Phonix" project? Not looking for crash scenes obviously, but that was an interesting build and story.

I've been a long time Paul Mantz fan and I can't thank you enough for all the photos in your threads.
Please keep them coming.
