Love the photos of the Memphis Belle, thanks. Looking forward to the finished product in Dayton in something like a year from now if the restoration is still on schedule.

I remember when Stepen Grey owned it for one week back in the early 90s.

Summer 1987, and it was about 6 weeks!

We fitted new radios and props, and then Jeff Ethell and the rest of the ferry crew came over and flew it back across the pond.

The photo shown against this aircraft as taken during the filming of Memphis Belle, is in fact a photo of B-17G 44-85784 Sally B taken during the filming and NOT that of F-BEEA.
