You're not serious...are ya'? Move it to Ypsilanti. Maybe get rid of most of the "Colonel" this and "Colonel" that bogacity.

They can put the collection in Mexico City for all I care, as long as they keep the aircraft flying.

KEFD is the best choice, no Commercial traffic, long runways, and lots of room!

OK...I could live with San Antonio (KSKF for you troublemakers). Anywhere but Dallas. That's the home of that football embarrassment.

Lackland's still there and still an active base. It would be nice to put it there a lot of room, former military builings AND the first ground crew school was started there in 1917. :)

I live ~12 miles from Ellington (KEFD for Mudge :supz: ), but vote for San Antonio because I see it as less hurricane/salt air vulnerable, and less tornado/hail vulnerable than DFW. It's a very nice climate, a hoary old tourist trap, lotsa huge old washed up AF bases laying around, and steeped in aviation history lore to boot. Seems perfect to me, all things considered.

None of these places are less than 2000 miles from me, so like the old folks always said, "I got no dog in this hunt," but I agree that San Antonio would be a good place due to the massive military and tourist presence. Imagine the CAF doing flyovers at Lackland for special occasions!
Ellington would also be good for tourists as it's of course very close to the Johnson Space Center, although the weather isn't quite as good there year-round...
